The Procedure — Step by Step

Preparation & Consent

We use state-of-the-art equipment and materials approved by the State of California. Before we begin, all required forms are completed as mandated by state law, and we review your health history and any contraindications.

Design & Numbing

We cleanse the brow area, pluck any stray hairs if needed, and draw the agreed-upon shape. Once you approve the design, the surface is sterilized and a topical anesthetic (cream and/or gel) is applied for your comfort.

Pigment Application

Pigment is gently implanted into the dermal layer of the skin. Immediately after, the color will appear 40–50% darker than your chosen shade — completely normal. Over 3–4 days it softens and settles into your true chosen color. The procedure typically takes 1–2 hours, leaving you with natural-looking eyebrows.

Perfecting Session (6–10 Weeks)

A follow-up session 6–10 weeks later (30–60 min) adds more pigment and perfects the final result. During healing, some areas may not retain pigment — this is completely normal, as everyone heals differently.

✨ The final result reveals itself over 3–4 weeks as your skin heals. The best results come after the perfecting session, not the day of your procedure.

Important Safety Notes

Avoid lash growth serums for at least 30 days before your appointment — they can make the lash line overly sensitive and vascular.
Remove lash extensions at least 2–4 weeks prior to treatment.
Contact lenses must be removed during the procedure — bring your glasses to your appointment.
Certain eye conditions (severe dry eye, active infections, recent surgery, uncontrolled glaucoma) may mean permanent eyeliner is not appropriate right now. We will assess this honestly in your consultation.
