Artist Standards

Right to Refuse Service

Artistic Ink PMU reserves the right to refuse or discontinue services when:

Expectations are unrealistic or not aligned with our artistic philosophy
Skin integrity may be compromised
Aftercare compliance is unlikely
Communication becomes disrespectful
We believe the procedure is not in the client's best interest

Our goal is always to protect the client, the integrity of the skin, healed results, and the quality standards of our work. We believe ethical permanent makeup includes knowing when not to proceed.

Healed Results & Skin Variability

Permanent makeup is an artistic and biological process. Because every client heals differently, healed results may vary based on:

Skin type & age
Hormones & immune response
Sun exposure
Previous tattoo or PMU work

Lifestyle & medications
Skincare products used
Aftercare compliance
Overall skin integrity

No artist can ethically guarantee identical healed results for every client. Additional sessions or refinements may sometimes be recommended to achieve the best possible outcome.

No Refund Policy

Due to the custom nature of permanent makeup services and the time, preparation, artistic design, and materials involved, all sales are final.

Refunds are not provided for:

Completed procedures
Dissatisfaction based on personal preference
Healed variations or color retention differences
Changes in personal aesthetic preference after the service has been performed

Client Participation

Client Responsibility & Aftercare

Beautiful healed results depend on both artist technique and client cooperation. Clients are responsible for:

Following aftercare instructions carefully
Avoiding activities and products that interfere with healing
Attending recommended follow-up appointments
Communicating honestly during the healing process
Allowing adequate healing time before evaluating results

Failure to follow aftercare instructions may affect healed results and may require additional sessions at additional cost.

Realistic Expectations

Permanent makeup is designed to enhance natural beauty — not create perfection. Our philosophy focuses on soft, elegant, natural-looking, long-term wearable results. Please understand:

Healed results naturally soften over time
Asymmetries naturally exist in every face
No cosmetic procedure can guarantee absolute perfection
Luxury permanent makeup is often built gradually and conservatively to preserve skin integrity

Appointments & Sessions

Touch-Ups & Additional Sessions

Permanent makeup is a multi-step process. Some clients may require additional refinement depending on skin type, healing response, lifestyle, retention, previous tattoo work, or aftercare compliance.

Additional sessions beyond the included touch-up appointment may involve additional fees.

Deposits & Cancellations

Deposits are non-refundable and secure your reserved appointment time
48 hours notice required to reschedule and retain your deposit
Cancellations with less than 48 hours notice forfeit the deposit
Late arrivals may require rescheduling based on availability

Respectful Communication

At Artistic Ink PMU, we value respectful, honest, and collaborative communication. We are deeply committed to providing every client with a luxury experience built on trust, professionalism, kindness, patience, and mutual respect.

Disrespectful, aggressive, manipulative, or abusive behavior toward staff will not be tolerated and may result in refusal or discontinuation of services.

Artistic Integrity & Professional Judgment

By booking with Artistic Ink PMU, clients acknowledge that artistic decisions regarding shape, symmetry, saturation, color selection, and technique recommendations are made using professional judgment based on:

Facial structure and natural symmetry
Skin condition and integrity
Healed-result expectations
Long-term aesthetic balance

We reserve the right to modify or decline requested designs that may compromise healed results or the integrity of the skin.

Medical disclosure is required prior to all procedures
Services may be rescheduled or refused if health or safety is a concern
Please arrive with no makeup on the area to be treated

Studio Environment

Appointments are private — please arrive alone
No guests or children in the studio during procedures
A calm, sterile, focused environment is required for quality work
