Scar Camouflage

For clients with FUT strip scars, FUE dot scars, or other surgical and accidental scars, we use SMP to break up solid scar lines, visually blend them into the surrounding scalp, and reduce the contrast between scar and hair-bearing skin.

The Procedure — Step by Step

Consultation & Design

We assess your scalp, hair loss pattern, skin tone, and goals. Together we design your hairline or density plan — including pigment color selection and the number of sessions needed. All forms required by California state law are completed before we begin.

Session 1 — Foundation

Using state-approved equipment, we begin placing realistic follicle impressions into the scalp in a soft, layered approach. The first session establishes the overall shape, hairline, and base density — lighter than the final result.

Session 2–3 — Depth & Density

Subsequent sessions build depth, density, and dimension — refining the hairline, blending edges, and achieving your final result. Most clients need 2–3 sessions spaced 7–14 days apart. Each session is assessed individually and progresses at your skin's own pace.

Maintenance (Every 3–5+ Years)

SMP fades naturally and gradually over time. A single maintenance session every 3–5+ years keeps your results looking fresh. No dramatic changes — just a simple refresh when you feel it's needed.
