Client Guide
PMU is a collaboration between artist and client—and the best results come from trust, preparation, and clear expectations.
Understanding Permanent Makeup
Permanent Makeup (PMU) is a cosmetic tattoo designed to enhance your natural features while respecting skin health and facial harmony.
PMU enhances—it does not replace makeup entirely
Results are customized to your skin type and lifestyle
Initial color appears stronger and softens during healing
Final results are visible after 6–8 weeks
Touch-ups are a normal and expected part of the process
Every face and every skin heals differently.
Our Studio Experience
At Artistic Ink PMU, we value clarity, comfort, and professionalism. Our process is designed so both client and artist feel confident, relaxed, and aligned at every step.
When you inquire, we provide educational information so you can understand what Permanent Makeup involves, whether the service aligns with your expectations, and how to prepare for a successful experience.
Consultations are offered separately from the procedure. We review medical history, discuss goals and preferences, explain technique options, and answer all questions clearly and honestly.
We review and confirm the plan, approve design and shape together, select color based on skin tone, and perform the procedure using sterile, professional equipment in a clean, private, peaceful environment.
Before you leave, you'll receive clear aftercare instructions, guidance on what to expect during healing, and ongoing support if questions arise. Healing is part of the journey.
Expectations & Mindset
PMU is not instant perfection—it is a process.
We encourage clients who:
Value natural, elegant results
Are patient with healing
Trust professional guidance
Understand PMU will fade gradually over time
PMU may not be ideal if you:
Expect exact replication of photos
Change beauty preferences frequently
Are unwilling to follow care instructions
Honest expectations lead to beautiful outcomes.
